About

Miss Jennie started dancing at Cassandras School of Ballet when she was 4 years old. She has danced her whole life. She majored in dance and music in college at Michigan State University and then at The University of Toledo. She taught ballet, modern, lyrical, voice and guitar at Daryl Jervis Studio south for 17 years until it closed in 2006. She then taught at JJs Dance Studio for 5 years and most recently taught at Hanf Dance Studio for the last 5 years. She has done choreography for the Byrnedale choir and various theatre groups over the years. This will be her 30th dance recital as a teacher.

My name is Aurora and I have been dancing for 14 years, many of those years with Miss Jennie. I am so glad to be teaching our youngest students this year. I have taken ballet, pointe, tap, jazz and lyrical since I was 2 years old. I also dance on a competition team and compete regularly in all styles of dance.
